WHy We Started Mass Movement?
We believe health isn't built through quick fixes or extreme programs. It's built one workout, one habit, and one step at a time. Community Fitness was created to bring people together in a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to challenge themselves, improve their health, and enjoy the journey alongside others.
Why community Fitness?
Community Fitness is more than an exercise class—it's an opportunity to challenge yourself, connect with others, and build lasting momentum toward better health. Every session is led by an experienced coach and designed to provide the right level of challenge for each participant through scalable exercises and individualized modifications. Whether you're returning to fitness or looking for a new way to train, you'll experience expert coaching, accountability, encouragement, and the energy that comes from working toward a common goal alongside others.

Mario Mascioli, ATC, CSCS, CHWC is the founder of Mass Movement and a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Health & Wellness Coach with more than 12 years of experience helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.
Throughout his career, Mario has worked with everyone from active adults and older adults to high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, including five years as part of the sports medicine and performance staff with the Philadelphia 76ers organization. His approach combines evidence-based training, injury prevention, movement quality, strength and conditioning, and behavior change to help people achieve lasting results.
Mario founded Mass Movement with a simple belief: lasting health isn’t created through quick fixes or extreme programs—it’s built one workout, one habit, and one decision at a time. Whether coaching a first-time exerciser or an elite athlete, his goal is the same: to help people build confidence, create momentum, and become stronger in every area of life.
When you join a Mass Movement program, you’re not just signing up for a workout—you’re becoming part of a supportive community committed to growing stronger together.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Designed for active adults of all fitness levels who are ready to be challenged. Exercises are scaled to meet participants where they are, allowing beginners and experienced exercisers to train side by side. Do you want to maintain or improve their health and overall fitness? Enjoy fun, welcoming, high energy environments and being outside? Are willing to work or enjoy challenging yourself? It’s for you!
-
Absolutely! Community fitness is designed for adults who want to become stronger, healthier, and more confident, regardless of previous group fitness experience. While no prior experience in group fitness is necessary, participants should feel comfortable performing light-to moderate physical activity. Our goal isn’t for everyone to perform the same exact workout but to leave feeling challenged, successful, and one step closer to your goals. If you’re unsure whether the class is right for you, feel free to reach out before registering - I’d be happy to help you decide. The only prerequisite is a willingness to learn, work hard, and support the people training alongside you.
-
Bring your own exercise mat, water or a sports drink, or any kind of snack if you need it. Everything else will be provided.
